September 2-2021 Presentation Postponed
We hope that the latest storm, Ida, did not cause anyone significant difficulties, and by the time it arrived, you were home safe. Unfortunately, it was much more powerful than predicted, and it was of historical magnitude with record-breaking rain across the city, severe flooding, and dangerous conditions. Unfortunately, Parkway had twelve basements that flooded, which our manager and handyman worked on during the entire night. Only two remain today. We thank them so much for their continued hard work and dedication. Four boilers got water damaged, and Management is searching for parts to fix them.
Some first-floor apartments were flooded. At this time, Management is calling the residents who reported an issue last night to ensure they were taken care of and that no further action is needed.
We will inspect each apartment that took in water to correct what prevented the water from draining correctly.
I am very sorry, but this evening's presentation will be shown next week due to the strain that the storm has caused. Therefore, the entire presentation schedule will be moved one week ahead. Again, I am sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
